Description
The U.S. Constitution test is the first test created for the
Test Administrator.
This test was created to gauge a student's understanding of the
United States Constitution. It is suitable for any student that is able
to grasp the subject of Civics. The recommended time limit for this test is 60 minutes.
This test, along with the study guide, is available for purchase.
You must have first downloaded the Test Administrator in order to use this test. The Test Administrator is free and you can download it by clicking here.

What the Test Covers
As previously stated, this test is meant to gauge the understanding of the
Constitution of the United States. What does that mean? That means that
the test strictly covers the content of the Constitution (specifically, the
articles and the amendments), not the events
surrounding it. In other words, all a student needs to do to study for this test
is to study the
text of the Constitution.
This test includes:
- 10 True/False Questions
- 20 Multiple Choice Questions
- 10 Matching Questions
- 10 Short Answer Questions
The teacher may choose to allow the student to use a copy of the Constitution
during the test. If the teacher chooses not to do so, the student should
vigorously study the Constitution before taking the test.

that may lean toward one viewpoint or another. As such, this test is strictly fact-based; that
is, its questions and answers are taken from the text of the Constitution and nothing
else.

This software package includes a study guide, which gives a preview of the subjects covered in the
test. In the study guide, you will also find a set of ten
supplimental study questions. These study questions encourage students to
research the Constitution, its background, and its effects on the structure
of the government.
- Test
The test consists of a total of fifty questions. Here is the format of the
test:
- 10 True/False Questions
- 20 Multiple Choice Questions
- 10 Matching Questions
- 10 Short Answer Questions
Remember, that this test can only be used in conjunction with the
Test Administrator,
which is a free download.

Once you have purchased the software, you can run it OR save it to your hard drive and run it later. Once you run the software and complete the install, the U.S. Constitution Test will be loaded onto your hard drive so that when you click the "Open Test" button on the IVSW Test Administrator, you will see a folder for "US Constitution".
